Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 14, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Ryzlo handles information when you use the Ryzlo iOS app, including its widgets, Live Activities, Screen Time blocking features, subscriptions, and optional Apple services.
Summary
- Ryzlo does not sell your personal information.
- Ryzlo does not use third-party advertising SDKs.
- Ryzlo does not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.
- Most app data is stored on your device or in the app group container used by Ryzlo and its extensions.
- Apple may process information when you use Apple services such as Sign in with Apple, StoreKit purchases, Game Center, notifications, and Screen Time permissions.
Information Ryzlo Handles
Depending on the features you choose to use, Ryzlo may handle the following information:
- Profile information: if you use Sign in with Apple, Ryzlo may receive your Apple-provided user identifier, display name, and email address or private relay email address. Ryzlo uses this for app functionality, such as showing your profile in the app.
- Tasks, habits, sessions, schedules, and progress: Ryzlo stores information you create in the app, such as focus tasks, session history, streaks, achievements, weekly reports, and scheduled blocking windows.
- Screen Time selections: if you grant Screen Time permission, Ryzlo stores your selected apps and categories so it can apply blocking rules during focus sessions or scheduled blocks. Ryzlo does not receive the contents of the apps you use.
- Notifications and Live Activities: Ryzlo may schedule local reminders, progress summaries, streak alerts, and Live Activity updates if you enable those features.
- Purchases and subscriptions: subscription status is handled through Apple StoreKit. Ryzlo uses StoreKit information to unlock Pro features. Payment details are handled by Apple and are not available to Ryzlo.
- Game Center: if you use the leaderboard, Apple Game Center may show your display name, rank, and score. Ryzlo submits reclaimed focus minutes to the configured Game Center leaderboard when you are signed in to Game Center.
- Calendar features: if calendar features are enabled and you grant permission, Ryzlo may create calendar events for tasks or habits. Calendar access is used only for the feature you request.
How Information Is Used
Ryzlo uses information to provide and improve app functionality, including:
- running focus timers, blocking sessions, schedules, tasks, habits, widgets, and Live Activities;
- showing statistics, streaks, achievements, insights, and weekly reports;
- restoring your local app state across launches;
- unlocking subscription features and restoring purchases through Apple StoreKit;
- supporting optional Game Center leaderboard features; and
- responding to support, privacy, or deletion requests you send.
Storage and Sharing
Ryzlo is designed to keep app-created data on your device. The app uses local device storage, SwiftData, UserDefaults, and an app group container so the main app, widgets, Live Activities, and extensions can access the data needed to work.
Ryzlo does not operate a developer-owned analytics, advertising, or tracking backend. Ryzlo does not sell or rent your information. Information may be processed by Apple when you use Apple platform services, including iCloud device backups, Sign in with Apple, StoreKit, Game Center, notifications, and Screen Time frameworks, subject to Apple's privacy terms.
Tracking and Advertising
Ryzlo does not use your data to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies. Ryzlo does not include third-party advertising networks or advertising measurement SDKs.
Permissions
Ryzlo asks for permissions only when needed for app features:
- Screen Time / Family Controls: used to block selected apps and categories during focus sessions or scheduled blocks.
- Notifications: used for reminders, alerts, progress summaries, and streak protection warnings.
- Calendar: used to create calendar events for tasks or habits when you request that feature.
- Game Center: used for leaderboard participation when you choose to use it.
- Sign in with Apple: used for an optional account profile.
You can manage app permissions in the iOS Settings app. You can also sign out of the optional account profile inside Ryzlo.
Data Retention and Deletion
Ryzlo keeps local app data until you delete it in the app, reset the app, delete the app from your device, or remove related device backups. Some Apple service records, such as purchases or Game Center activity, are managed by Apple.
To request help with privacy or deletion, contact the developer using the contact information below. Because Ryzlo does not operate a developer-owned backend for app data, most deletion can be completed directly on your device by deleting app data or uninstalling the app.
Children's Privacy
Ryzlo is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through Ryzlo, contact the developer so the issue can be reviewed.
International Users
Ryzlo may be available in different countries and regions. Apple platform services may process information according to Apple's terms and the settings on your Apple Account and device.
Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
