Privacy Policy Terms FAQ

Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Ryzlo, an iOS app for session-based distraction blocking, habit building, and identity progression (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Ryzlo. If you are under 18, you should review these Terms with a parent or guardian before using the App. Ryzlo's blocking features rely on Apple's Screen Time and Family Controls framework, which some households use as part of a parent-managed device — where that's the case, the account holder is responsible for how the App is configured on that device.

What Ryzlo Does

Ryzlo lets you start timed focus sessions that block distracting apps and websites using Apple's Screen Time APIs, choose from a library of habit modes across daily life categories, and track progress through an identity system that reflects consistency over time (streaks, stages, and related in-app milestones). Blocking is enforced by iOS at the system level once a session or scheduled block is active; the App does not access the content of blocked apps or sites, only whether they're permitted to open.

App Store Terms

Ryzlo is distributed through the Apple App Store. Your use of the App is also subject to Apple's App Store terms, including the Apple Media Services Terms and any applicable Apple standard end user license agreement.

Subscriptions

Some features of Ryzlo may require a subscription. Subscription purchases are charged to your Apple ID through the App Store. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings. Pricing and which features require a subscription will be presented in the App and on the App Store listing before you purchase.

Your Content and Progress

Your session history, streaks, habit selections, and identity progress belong to you. If Ryzlo offers cloud sync, that data is used to keep your progress consistent across your own devices, as described in the Privacy Policy — it isn't used to build a public profile or shared without your action (for example, opting into a leaderboard).

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse Ryzlo, interfere with the App's operation, attempt to bypass subscription access controls or Screen Time restrictions the App is enforcing on your own request, reverse engineer the App beyond what applicable law permits, or use the App in a way that violates applicable law.

Intellectual Property

Ryzlo, including its design, the identity/stage system, habit mode library, and associated branding, is owned by the developer of Ryzlo and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. These Terms don't grant you any rights to that material beyond what's needed to use the App as intended.

No Warranty

Ryzlo is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose — including that Screen Time blocking will be impossible to circumvent, since it depends on Apple's frameworks and device settings outside our control.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer of Ryzlo isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including missed focus sessions, lost streaks, or data loss, except where such liability can't be limited under applicable law.

Termination

You can stop using Ryzlo at any time by deleting the App. We may suspend or terminate access to features for accounts that violate the Acceptable Use section above.

Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a new "Effective" date on this page. Continuing to use Ryzlo after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
